For my first business card I extruded the type and beveled it in Dimensions then rendered it at the correct angle. I then brought it into Photoshop and textured it. The shadow was created from the type selection and flipped, skewed, rotated and distorted until it looked right. The base plane of type I created in Illustrator and gave it a perspective distortion in Photoshop.
