The Harmony Games logo was originally a minature map of the Batalo game board converted to a yin yang symbol (the working title for Batalo was Yin Yang).

To create this 3-D version I mapped the Illustrator image onto a sphere in Dimensions and then gave it shading and a shadow in Photoshop. I extruded and beveled the type in Dimensions and then imported it into Photoshop for compositing with the logo and a drop shadow.
